Planned server migration dss1.layerip.com

We wanted to let you know that on Monday, 29th April we will be carrying out some essential maintenance work on your hosting service. We plan to migrate your service to our brand new hosting infrastructure, based in our own private data centre suite in North London. This work will bring many benefits including faster server performance, better network connectivity including IPv6 support and a higher specification data centre.
What will be affected:
This planned maintenance affects all websites and email accounts which are hosted on the dss1.layerip.com server. No other servers will be affected by this migration. Your account will be migrated to the new hosting02.layerip.com server. Accounts will be migrated in sequence, thus, only accounts actively being migrated will be affected at any given moment. Service will be restored immediately upon successful migration.
When will this happen:
The maintenance window will start at 21:00 UK time (BST) on Monday, 29th April, and will run for 8 hours.
Expected service impact:
During the maintenance window your websites and email will be temporarily unavailable whilst we migrate your service. Service interruption time depends on the size of your data, but should not exceed one hour.
Action required:
Customers using the Jolt name servers (ns100.layerip.com and ns101.layerip.com) will have their DNS records updated automatically. Customers using third party name servers will need to manually update their DNS records to replace 37.61.237.29 with 194.110.243.35 once the migration has started. Once accounts have been migrated, any traffic arriving at the old server due to third party DNS caching will be automatically forwarded to the new server in order to minimise disruption. This will remain in place for 7 days following the migration in order to give you time to ensure that all DNS records have been updated.

Fallback procedure:
In case of any issues, we will abort the migration and revert back to the current dss1.layerip.com server.
