Network degradation (Monitoring)
Our network team are currently mitigating a Denial of Service attack against our network, which is causing performance issues on all services. Please stand by for an update.

We’ve mitigated the majority of the attack and network/service performance is returning to normal. However, as the situation is still ongoing, services should be considered “at risk” until we’ve issued a further update to our status page to confirm the attack has been completely cleared.
Unfortunately we’re still seeing stability issues as the attack is pivoting to different segments of our network, the team are mitigating the attacks as/when they surface and working with our upstream connectivity providers to arrange additional network capacity. Please accept our apologies for the degradation in service, we’re working as quickly as we can to fully stabilise the network.
Services are mostly stable, but we’re still actively mitigating attacks as/when they surface, as well as working with our upstream connectivity providers to strengthen the measures that are currently in place.

Parts of our network still under attack at the moment and there may be short periods where your site(s) are slower than normal. The team are constantly monitoring the health of the network and reacting to attacks as soon as they surface.

The attack has subsided and everything has remained stable since approximately 10:35 (GMT+1). However, we’re still closely monitoring the network and will continue to provide updates until we’re confident the incident has cleared.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience caused by the network stability issues today, unfortunately Denial of Service attacks of this scale (one of the largest we’ve encountered) are difficult to navigate & we thank you for again for your patience whilst we worked through the attack.

We’ve not witnessed any further attacks against our network since approx. 10:35 (GMT+1), everything has remained stable. We’ll continue to closely monitor the network over the next couple of days, but it does appear the attack has subsided for now.
Unless anything changes in the meantime, we’ll issue another update tomorrow before considering this incident resolved.
