cPanel hosting database maintenance (Scheduled – 17/10/2025 @ 21:00)

As part of troubleshooting a general issue with hosting01’s stability issues in the last week, we will be upgrading the MySQL / MariaDB service on the 17th of October at 21:00 (BST). The work is expected to take up to 2 hours, but any site disruption will be significantly less.

During the work, database driven sites on hosting01 (194.110.243.34, 2a00:b980:3:9::34) such as WordPress will be periodically unavailable, or may show a “Error connecting to database” message. As always, downtime will be kept to the absolute minimum.

Email services will be unaffected and there is no risk to your data.

Please accept our apologies for the late notice, we’re actively troubleshooting hosting01’s stability issues at the moment and upgrading the database service may bring us closer to a solution.
