Nottinghamshire datacentre migration

As per the emails sent to impacted customers on 24/06/2025 and 16/07/2025, we are migrating all dedicated servers from our Nottinghamshire to our private suite in our London datacentre on 22/07/2025 starting at 22:00.

Our London datacentre offers improved specification facilities with greater resilience, and connects directly to our own network, providing greater flexibility and performance, as well as potential for more advanced services than we can currently provide to our customers at the Nottinghamshire datacenter location.

What is happening?

All dedicated servers in the Nottinghamshire datacentre will be physically relocated to our London datacentre. This process involves removing the server from the datacentre, transporting it securely to London, and installing it in pre-prepared racks.

When will this occur?

The migration is scheduled for 22:00 (BST) on 22/07/2025 and is expected to take approximately eight hours.

Expected impact

During the migration window, your server will be offline and unavailable. Service availability will resume immediately after the servers are powered on in London. Rest assured we’ve taken every precaution to ensure that this migration is meticulously planned to minimise the impact so far as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to enhance our services. If you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing support@jolt.co.uk.

All servers have been racked up and connected to the network. Many of the servers are back online. We are working through the remaining servers individually to troubleshoot any issues.
