Performing service affecting maintenance

We are performing service affecting maintenance on our Shared infrastructure overnight on the 21st of December:

Start time: December 21st, 9 PM GMT
Duration: 3 – 4 hours
Affected servers:
lss1.layerip.com – 176.74.21.6
lrs3.layerip.com – 176.74.21.35

Our physical servers will be moved from an older section of the datacentre to a newer private cage. This private cage provides space for expansion, improved power/cooling, and an improved power efficiency/cooling system. This migration and investment into our datacentre infrastructure will help deliver continued reliability for years to come and is part of our commitment to uptime and performance.

We expect a maintenance window of up to 4 hours but will be doing our best to shorten actual downtime. The Jolt team will be working alongside onsite datacentre staff to complete the migration as quickly as possible.

We kindly ask that you do not perform any updates to your websites (server) in the 12 hour period immediately preceding and following the scheduled migration time.

We will update the post after the completion of the planned work.

We would like to post an update and notify our customers that lss1.layerip.com and lrs3.layerip.com are up and running.

Unfortunately, hypervisors are experiencing unexpected network issues with the OnApp service. Our senior techs and OnApp support team are working on this problem at the moment.

Please accept our apologies for these temporary inconveniences. We will keep you posted.
