Planned power maintenance – ssdrs5.layerip.com

We have been notified by our data centre provider that they will be carrying out service affecting maintenance work on the 21st of October between 20:00 and 23:59 to replace a UPS. Unfortunately, this will affect ssdrs5.layerip.com and all customers hosted on.

Whilst disruptive, this is work in essential in order to ensure that the UPS are working properly and are able to be maintained in the future. The original UPS have been in place since the facility opened and it is becoming difficult for the facility operator to source replacement parts for servicing etc.

Expected impact:
Affected clients will experience short (less than 10 minutes) connectivity loss at some moment during the maintenance window until the server is booted backed online.
