ssdrs3.layerip.com – web server issue

Please read this information carefully.

It appeared that the recent problems with ssdrs3.layerip.com server were caused by in-depth dependency issues between CloudLinux core and other server software components.
To our regret, CloudLinux team was not able to resolve this or at least to find a cause of the issue and in such situation the only way to restore the access to your sites is to transfer accounts to other operational server.

Reseller accounts beginning with ‘a’ – ‘f’ were transferred to the following server:

  • Hostname / mail server: ssdrs4.layerip.com
  • IP: 37.61.232.130

Reseller accounts beginning with ‘g’ – ‘z’ will be transferred to a different server:

  • Hostname / mail server: ssdrs5.layerip.com
  • IP: 37.61.235.10

For those using dedicated IP address: all accounts are transferred to the main shared IP for now (mentioned above). Dedicated IP addresses will be assigned after the transfer and emailed to your contact address.

For those using private nameservers: your new private nameservers will be emailed to you after the transfer.

All domains using our default nameservers or your private nameservers will be repointed to the new server automatically. If you use third-party nameservers, a domain should be repointed to the new server via ‘A’ record mentioned above.

The status of transfer can be found in the comments below.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to numerous complaints regarding the performance of the new server, all reseller accounts that were previously transferred from ssdrs3 to ssdrs4 will be re-transferred to the brand-new, clean server: ssdrs5

We are glad to inform you that the permanent solution has been found and the server where your accounts are hosted on is working in a stable mode. The issue at hand was due to a global conflict between the CloudLinux core and CageFS file system caused by the last update.

Please accept our most sincere apologies for any inconveniences this accident might have caused you or your business. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

We are compelled to inform you that the problem partially reappeared, unfortunately. This is related to the recent CloudLinux core update, their team is investigating the problem. Meanwhile, we are applying a temporary fix that will keep your sites up and running as long as it is possible.
Taking into account a quite non-trivial nature of this problem, we cannot provide you with any ETA on when this will be resolved completely. We will be updating this post as the situation develops.
