VPS infrastructure – Degraded storage

We would like to inform you that our primary OnApp storage is in a degraded state which causes VPSs to run in the read-only mode. Our team is currently working on it to make the storage rebalanced.

Affected servers:
– VPS instances
– lss1.layerip.com

Unfortunately, there is no ETA at the moment, we will keep you updated by adding comments to this post.

We would like to convey our most sincere apologies for any inconveniences this may be causing you or your company and thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

    We would like to inform you that OnApp Support is engaged in helping full service to our OnApp cloud customers and their senior technicians are currently working on eliminating this problem.
    It will take some more time, but the restoration process is stable and running fine so far.

    We are glad to inform you that all VPS instances are up and running.

    However the status of the shared server lss1.layerip.com has not been changed, it’s still unavailable and our technical team is still working on it. No ETA can be provided.

    We’re still trying to boot old data using an alternative machine cause a hardware issue took place on the original one.

    Meanwhile, we’re starting disaster recovery from our internal backups. The process can take a while, doing our best to have the original server booted.

    We will keep you updated on the status.

    The disaster recovery process is in progress, around 40 accounts are already restored.

    In case you see any problems with your account after restoration, please feel free to contact our support, we will do our best to have everything sorted for you.

    93 accounts restored for now. No critical errors reported from the logs, but if you’re facing any errors – just let us know.
